FANTASIANXS é o primeiro livro de banda desenhada de Ad Minoliti e o resultado de um diálogo contínuo com Kunsthalle Lissabon em torno da ideia de ficção científica e agência crítica e política como um espaço de diversão.

“Fantasianxs describes a community of beings whose existence is dedicated to a critical process of reflection directed both at themselves and to the universe through which they travel. They are ambiguous by definition, impossible to grasp in all their complexity and contradictions. They perceive themselves in a permanent state of flux, existing beyond species, race, gender, age, and class, while simultaneously being uncertain of whether they are real, simulated, or simple figments of some child's imagination. The narrative tension arises from this unresolvable conundrum as their perception of the binary reality/fiction starts losing significance. Fantasianxs is an exciting new work, ripe with references and thought-provoking ideas, by the author who already gave us masterpieces such as Nave Vermelhe and Biosfera Peluche.”
